Welcome to Dissolve : Play
Play is where it all began. Since 2015, this popular relational movement gathering on Saturday mornings has invited people to drop into their bodies, follow the music, and rediscover how to play, alone and together.
Inspired by contact improvisation, intuitive movement, and authentic relating, Play blends soft guidance with plenty of free movement. Guided exercises support what feels good to you, and a big YES to honouring your boundaries is built into the space. Bring your curiosity, your playfulness, and your willingness to connect a little more deeply with yourself and others.
Play is a permission field, all of you is welcome here. Nothing is shamed or shut out. The tone of Play is warm, expansive and playful.
Event Details & Flow
When: Saturdays from 11am–1pm
Where: Paradiso, Ubud
11:00–11:40 – Guided warm-up: dropping into your body
11:40–12:50 – Free movement jam with a carefully crafted music journey
12:50–1:00 – Closing circle
Tickets: 180k IDR on the door or 180k IDR + booking fee on Megatix
Good to know
No experience needed, there is no right way to move here. Your curiosity to explore is enough.
Solo dancing is welcome. You don't have to touch or partner with anyone.
Typically we have 60–90 regular and visiting movers from many different backgrounds.
You can buy your ticket on the door or in advance via Megatix.
All of you is welcome here: your joy and your pain and everything in between.
The dance floor is a phone-free and chat-free zone. A downstairs café is open for conversations.
